The Polystrene beads are fed in the pre-expander. The beads are pre-expanded by means of steam at temperature above 90 degree centigrade. This is done when the blowing agents contained in the beads vaporizes and the pressure so generated causes the softened - Polystyrene beads to expand between 30 to 50 times in their original volume.

The bulk density of the expanded beads is controlled by adjusting the steam supply and feed rate after obtaining the required density the prefoamed beads then pass thought a fluidized bed driver which is a through with an air permeable base where warm air is blown to dry the pre-expanded beads.

The cycle time of fully automatic Block moulding machine is 15 to 20 minutes.

The block moulding machine consists of a rectangular mould with perforated walls in the form of drilled holes or slots. The vacuum-assisted machine which reduces steam consumption, cycle time and gives s drier product. These blocks are used for cutting sheets in required thickness, hand fabricated packaging and pipe sections of required thickness. The Automatic block moulding machine attached with vacuum blower to reduce cooling time and remove moisture with the results the block can be used within 24 hours as against 4 to 5 days curing time in the case of block made in semi automatic moulding machine.

The shape moulding machine is a press having a pair of steam chambers with provision for filling steam and cooling water. This machine can mould pre-expanded beads to desired size and shape as per our requirements

With the help of fully automatic control panel required parameters in sequence like :closing of mould, steaming, cooling time. forward and return stroke feeding of materials assisted by overhead silo and feeding guns will result in a production cycle of 2  1/2 times compared to semi automatic shape moulding machines. Depending upon the products size cycle time will be 1.8 minutes to 3.5 minutes.

Moulds (Dies) & Auto Filling Guns

Full aluminum casting body specially designed having a pair of steam chambers with supply provision. The moulds are completely filled with conditioned beads and heated by steam to 110 degree centigrade to 120 degree centigrade which expand further and fuse together. 

The moulded products are removed only after completely fused and cooed, otherwise post expansion deformation would occur. Moulds are fabricated size and shape to suit customers requirements.

Auto Filling Guns

The filling guns are deigned for filling expanded beads into moulds for shape moulded products. Meticulously designed efficient guns with festo accessories with "Y" designed connection facilitate fast feeding of materials.

Trimming and cutting Machines
